Deep Dive into these Four main categories:

  • Your Story

We will start our time together by deep diving into your story. Connecting with your story fully and identifying the painful parts of your past will serve as the gateway to healing. In addition, you will learn strategies to help your brain and your body heal from trauma.

  • Grief

Next we will focus on grief and strategies you can use to move through the grief. We will also dig into fully understanding what sexual integrity issues are all about. They are NOT about anything you lack, and all about his pain points from the past.

  • Triggers + Trauma

Oftentimes triggers own us. We will teach you what is happening when we are triggered from a neurological perspective and then help you use your triggers to further your healing. You will leave with an action plan to take back your power and own your healing.

  • Boundaries

And finally, we will make sure you leave with an action plan for detachment, identifying your limits and asking for what you need. In addition, we will show you what it looks like to implement boundaries to help gain protection and find clarity.

What People Are Saying

Just step out of your comfort zone and go!!! Seriously, push past and just show up you will be so happy you did! I drove from 12+ hours away and was completely out of my comfort zone, never been away from my family but once I was in the house and meeting the ladies it was wonderful! Also the leaders will treat you like they have known you for years! The hope I came back with and all the tools to use to heal and calm myself are so worth it all!!!!

Stepping into the unknown was a necessary discomfort in order to take another step forward towards healing. I was very nervous to be vulnerable and open up my story to “strangers”, but in doing so I found comfort and a new community of women to encourage me, empower me, and walk with me on this hard and often lonely road. I was so blessed by this experience.

— Retreat Attendee

The ability to connect with women who are experiencing what you are and who have walked the same path is vital to thriving in this process. Connecting and learning to continually reach out is life saving. It was a time of rest, calm, and peace that I needed in the midst of a storm. I was able to take my eyes off of my own pain and see others and be inspired by their strength, resilience, and hope. If you look at things in terms of wants and needs, this retreat is a need. Go.

I walked in feeling lonely and nervous. I walked out feeling supported and courageous. Take a step of faith and sign up for a Redemptive Living Retreat! I didn't realize how much I needed time with other women who understand the road I've been traveling and I'm willing to bet you need the same thing! It was a time of learning, rest, and healing that I will be forever grateful for.— Retreat Attendant

There is something incredibly healing about having a tangible expression of God's love poured out over you for several days. I came home refreshed and ready to take the very needed next steps in my own healing journey as well as set healthy boundaries with my husband. I would highly encourage anyone considering attending to go! It will exceed your hopes :)

— Rheanna

If you are in need of a safe, loving space to heal from betrayal trauma, this is the place! There is no need to take another step forward in this journey alone. Shelley and her team are loving, welcoming, and compassionate and you will find a room full of women who get it. The environment lends itself to healing through learning about trauma, our bodies' response to trauma, boundaries, secure self attachment, grief, etc. and also through connection with others who are experiencing the same thing. I left feeling empowered and also with a handful of new friends to walk the journey alongside me.

— Maggie

I wrote this during my quiet time in the morning on our last day:

My Truth-
I am seen. My true inner God given beauty and design has been seen and lifted up and held gently. My inner most parts have received healing. I feel mended, stitched up delicately with such care and tenderness. I am encouraged and motivated to become who God has been calling me to be. I am an Ezer. I am an unashamed warrior of God.

The gratitude I have for what this retreat has offered me will never be fully expressed on this side of heaven.

— LeeAnn

There really aren't words to express my gratitude for these days of connecting, grieving... healing. I had no idea what to expect walking in and I was met with the most exquisite tenderness. My life at home often feels like I'm stealing recovery time in 30 min segments and then wrapping my heart back in its protective covering to get back to life. Here, I finally felt able to let it lie open and in the safety of so many dear women felt the pieces begin to be knit back together.

— Kendall

Just do it! Do it for yourself. No matter how much you think you have worked on recovery, thought about boundaries, sought wise counsel, etc. etc., this takes all of that to a whole new level. Just to be away from one's daily situations and soak in the teaching and the relationships with other women walking this challenging road is incredibly healing and restorative. You will feel so loved and validated, and you'll be so glad you went.
