Elizabeth Owen - Coach + Group Facilitator
Specializing in coaching for Adolescents and young women
Elizabeth is in full-time youth ministry in Colorado and mom to two beautiful children. She has been in ministry for 20+ years! A native of Tennessee and graduate from the University of Tennessee—Knoxville with a B.F.A in Education (Go Vols!), she married in 2001 and spent ten years in Texas supporting her husband’s career in aerospace. After starting a family and growing deep roots in the Houston area, they made the big decision to move to Colorado in 2011 for career advancement.
Many adventures ensued, children grew, and like so many marriages at 15+ years, things felt tired and strained. When careers finally led to travel lasting weeks and months at a time, crisis struck and Elizabeth’s husband disclosed an affair with a co-worker in the spring of 2017. Much fight, effort, prayer and time was spent on trying to save the marriage. But in the end the efforts weren’t equal, the affair wasn’t over, and the door needed to close.
In the years since disclosure, separation and eventual divorce, Elizabeth has thrived in her growth and healing journey- but it has been hard fought. She loves who she has become…and is still becoming! She is passionate about her family, her community, and investing in relationships. RLFW has been an anchor point on her path forward and she is excited to be part of this team supporting women in their health, hope and healing.
